Kobe article- continued

What surprised me about Sager's essay was how he incorporated the Kobe's answers in without having to right "he said this.." or something like that. The framework of the essay is mostly about Kobe Bryant's life and making it seem like a normal persons. What also surprised me on how he wrote it was that he had five days with him but not a lot of time in each day, but he still gave a lot of information to summarize everything new he learned about Kobe and his life.

The things that surprised me about Kobe's life was that he grew up in Italy. I never knew a lot of things about Kobe and his family. I didn't know he was married and had kids. What surprised me also was that he wanted to talk about his sex scandal but couldn't because he wanted to keep his "good image" for the public. This is what most celebrities have to do to hide their true selves because they have to look perfect.
Sager gets most of his information from the things Kobe doesn't say, but the way he lives and acts. He did a lot of research before hand so he could learn more about the guy.
